What are unclaimed funds?
Unclaimed funds are checks that are issued by Pettis County that are not cashed by an entity or citizen. Examples are vendor checks, jury checks, and reimbursement checks. If a check is not cashed within 90 days of issuance it is considered unclaimed funds.
How do I make a claim?
To redeem your unclaimed funds please fill out the unclaimed funds request form and submit it to the Treasurer’s office by email, fax or mail. Address’s and phone numbers are listed at the bottom of the form.
How do I check on my claim?
You may check on your claim by calling 660-826-5000 x 408 or by emailing treasurer@pettiscomo.com.
