Road Closures
attached locationThe Pettis County Road & Bridge Department would like to inform you that a portion of Brooking Park Ave will be subject to road closures for surface type change – Phase 2 & 3 beginning 7:00 A.M. on July 13, 2026, and may continue through July 15, 2026, circumstances permitting. Please reference the attached image for location. We ask that no vehicles or other assets be left on the roadway during this time.
Due to scheduling changes, Phase 1 is now anticipated to begin at 7:00 A.M. on July 8, 2026, and may continue through July 9, 2026, circumstances permitting. We ask that no vehicles or other assets be left on the roadway during this time.
Please be aware that this is only Phase 1 of the project. Phase 2 will be completed at a later date, and a separate notice will be issued once the schedule is available. If the project schedule changes due to weather or other circumstances, updates will be provided as they become available.

Has the physical ability required to lift and to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. 2. Can perform required duties in inclement weather conditions including ice, snow, and extreme cold or heat. 3. Has the interpersonal skills necessary to relate to colleagues and members of the public under conditions that may, on occasion, be adversarial or stressful. 4. Has vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices, considered within the normal range necessary to safely operate heavy equipment. 5. Has a valid Missouri operator’s or CDL license necessary to carry out the primary responsibilities for the position hired. 6. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. 7. Can understand, interpret, and implement verbal and written instructions. 8. Must be able to perform daily routine physical activities without restrictions.
